Spring is almost here, and summer is just around the corner. That means it is almost concert season! We are planning to have 8 performances this summer, and it’s time to start getting the music ready.

There will be 3 rehearsals this spring. The first will be on Sunday, March 29th, from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Marysville HS band room. We will begin rehearsing some of the music that will be used for concerts this summer. The Community Choir is having a rehearsal that afternoon as well,  beginning at 4:00. Those band members that are also participating in the choir will be able to attend both rehearsals if they so choose.

The second and third rehearsals will be on Sunday, April 19th and May 3rd, also in the Marysville HS band room, from 2:30-4:30. All three rehearsals are open to anyone who wishes to participate. So break out that instrument and join the fun!

The Marshall County Arts Cooperative and the Community Band are now listed on Facebook. This is an internet networking website that allows for greater communication.

To find the group listings, just go to Facebook.com, and under “Search” type in “Marshall County Arts Cooperative” or “Marshall County Community Band”. That will take you to each group’s site.
